New York Adventure Club
The New York Adventure Club is an organization that usually leads interesting tours around New York City. However, during the pandemic, they have been hosting webinars on interesting historical events, people, and eras. The topics range from the Gilded Age to the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair. The live webinars are lively and interesting, led by professional tour guides and/or experts in the field. Link: New York Adventure Club
Hurley Heritage Society
The Hurley Heritage Society exists to preserve and explore the history of Hurley for new generations. They sometimes host live events over Zoom, which you can find out about if you register your email on their website. Link: Hurley Heritage Society
History Buffs’ Delight
The marvelous FDR Presidential Library and Museum is hosting some virtual presentations during the pandemic. The museum also has a comprehensive YouTube video library entitled #AtHomeWiththeRoosevelts .

Lifetime Learning Institute of SUNY New Paltz
Welcome to the Lifetime Learning Institute of the State University of New York at New Paltz
We offer stimulating and fun, non-credit, non-competitive courses for adults 55 years and older. Our courses are offered each fall and spring semester in four or eight-week formats. Wednesday courses are typically offered on the SUNY New Paltz campus and Friday courses are offered in and around New Paltz.
