Teachers Union
KRTF (Kingston Retired Teachers Federation) is a chapter of the KTF (Kingston Teachers’ Federation). When you join this chapter you also will continue your membership in NYSUT and AFT. RC-13 NYSUT Retirement Council #13 is composed of Retirees from Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Sullivan and Ulster Counties. Representatives attend NYSUT Regional Assemblies and other policy making councils and have a voice in legislation affecting our districts. There is a newsletter (Mid-Hudson Bridges), political action (Vote Cope), and a variety of committees (including social activities), where members participate. The meetings have been via Zoom for now, but hopefully will resume in person, and take place every 2nd Wednesday on the 1st floor In the NYSUT building on Schwenk Dr. in Kingston. Guests are welcome.
